Photograph of Whittingehame Lodge, 44 Storey's Way, with related correspondence, 1992
Information about the photograph from Professor J H Bennett, Emeritus Professor of Genetics, University of Adelaide "I think that the man on the right looks like R C Punnett, who lived at Whittingehame Lodge for about 30 years whilst he was Professor of Genetics before Fisher was appointed to the chair in 1943. The other person on the right might perhaps be William Bateson. Bateson had been appointed to a Chair in Biology at Cambridge in 1908 but left in 1910 to become the first Director of the John Inness Horticultural Institute and then Punnett, who had been Bateson's colleague, was appointed to be the Chair in his place."
